As much as you might  love eating at a nice restaurant sometimes all you need is a good burger and a large plate of fries, to hell with that diet!

So, while you are lazing at home thinking about junk food you could pick up the phone and order-in from Pizza Port. This way you save the bother of fighting through traffic to get to the restaurant, and lets face it junk food is more satisfying when you are digging into it sitting on a bean bag in front of a T.V.

The Experience:

To Eat:

Being a Fast food joint there are a number of options ranging from the healthier salads to the more substantial burgers and sinful fries.

Starters:

  • French Fries
  • Potato Wedges
  • Coleslaw Salad
  • Garlic Bread / Cheese
  • BBQ Wings

If you like fried chicken, order KFC! Their chicken isn’t very good. The burgers on the other hand are quite nice, nothing spectacular but definitely worth the price. The Lamb and Chicken burgers are nice ( order nothing less than a double if you know what’s good for you ) .

An alternative to the burgers are ofcourse the always classic subs, hot dogs and grill sandwiches.

Super Sub:

  • BBQ big bite
  • Tuna and Corn
  • Chicago Sub
  • Big Jack ( Beef )

Hot Dogs:

  • Veg ( how does that work??? )
  • Chicken Hot Dog

Grilled Sandwich:

  • Garden Veg Sandwich
  • Chicken BBQ
  • Chicken Tikka

There are a wide range of pizza’s  and salads to choose from however none of the one’s I’ve tried is worth repeating.

Finishing Up:

The only thing available to order is a chocolate walnut brownie which really hits the spot after a nice burger.

The Fine Print:

Type: Restaurant

Cuisine: Continental

Meal Details: Lunch, Dinner and Everything in between.

Alcohol? : No

Meal for 2: A “meal”  for 2 would set you back around Rs 200

Cards? : Yes

Gripes:

Apart from their Burgers and fries nothing is really worth trying. Pizza’s should definitely be avoided. Oh, and i wish the burgers were a little larger.

  • About
I've been an avid Foodie ever since i can remember, whether it was enjoying something my Grand Mother rustled up in the kitchen, eating at a five star hotel or at a corner Dhaba. This Blog was started as a means of discussing with you, the reader, my experiences at these very restaurants and watering holes across the city of Bangalore. Over time I plan to include information on alcohol and travel destinations as well.
