When i started this Blog a few days ago i did have a particular restaurant in mind that i wanted to review. It just so happens i didn’t have pictures of the place and so my first post ended up being Vicky’s La Terrazza.
So let’s dig in shall we?
I was told about this place a while ago by a friend who has been trying to drag me there ever since she “sampled” the chocolate deserts.

The Experience:
The restaurant is rather good, I was there when there wasn’t too much a of a crowd so the service was spot on. The food was excellent and the pricing good. I would definitely recommend this restaurant if you are looking for a value for money experience in Koramanagala.
I would recommend you try the chicken with Basil rice, this is something that i quite enjoyed. It came with a white sauce and sundried tomatoes ( oh how i love them!! ) and some salad ( fresh and crunchy just the way i like it ). Their sauces are delicious and the portions just right.
The Greek Fish was rather nice as well , as i happened to nick some ( read most ) of my friends plate. Again with a side of pasta, cooked just right, and on a bed of potatoes. The Fish was served in two pieces sandwiched between olives. The only thing i would have recommended would be some nuts to give it a nice crunchy texture.
While i am not a desert person ( yes i know half of you reading this will be wincing in pain right now ) i did really enjoy their ganache tart and semi freddo. Definitely some of the best deserts i’ve had, and at under a 100 rupees quite a steal.
The Semi freddo has some really interesting textures, its creamy and light with chocolate bits that give it a really nice crunchy-ness ( is that a word? )
The ganache tart is great as well, the biscuit base is a little salty so you don’t get overwhelmed with the sweetness as with most deserts and the chocolate is well chocolate!!
All in all, a place that i think you should definitely check out when you get the chance.
Gripes:
The only real issue i had with the restaurant was the fact that their garlic bread was sweet ( yes i know, good heavens!! ) and the fact that they didn’t have a cocktail menu.

I definitely agree … we love Italian food and have always craved some Italian restaurants in bangalore which serves good Italian food at reasonable price tag and Vicky’s place was just splendid. We are vegetarians and tried Zucchini Asparagus soup and it was incredible however, pointer quantity can be increased and vegetarian menu definitively needs rework in terms of starters and soups. The finger chips was the only starter available in vegetarian as we have already tried zucchini soup we didn’t wanna order a starter with th same ingredient. The 2 pastas which we tried also were very filling and delicious. Tiramisu the desert was a treat after the pastas and with its coffee powder topping and soft creamy base it was just the last taste we wanted. As the friend above mentioned this joint do not put a hole in the pocket check came up to just 800 bucks.
